Grants were made to Healing Play, Inc., Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Durand Fire Department, and Pierce County 4H/FFA Livestock Committee. PPCS members fund Pierce Pepin Cares by rounding up their monthly energy bills to the nearest dollar through Operation Round Up®, as well as direct donations.
Healing Play, Inc. received a $2,000 grant to support building an inclusive playground at Fairy Wonderland Park in Prescott, Wis. A $1,000 grant was awarded to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church to assist in the installation of a well, septic system, bathroom, and storm shelter at their softball field to increase community use of the facilities. They will allow the organizations to move forward with projects that positively impact Pierce and Pepin County residents.”
